CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – A severe thunderstorm watch for a number of Lowcountry counties has ended.

The watch affected Berkeley, Beaufort, Colleton, and Dorchester counties.

UPDATE: (7p.m.): A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for parts of Berkeley, Colleton & Dorchester Counties until 8 p.m.

UPDATE (6:30 p.m.): A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Colleton and Dorchester Counties until 7:30 p.m.

UPDATE (5 p.m.): Beaufort County is now included in the Thunderstorm Watch until 11 p.m.

Berkeley, Colleton and Dorchester Counties are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11 p.m.

Isolated hail, gusty winds and frequent lightning are expected to be the main threats associated with the storms.
