Caitlyn Jenner Rocks a Patterned Dress for Dinner with Pal Sophia Hutchins in New York City!– OnMyWay Mobile App User News

She ran as a California gubernatorial candidate during the Gavin Newsom recall election, but the recall failed to get enough votes required to remove Newsom.

And weeks after her failed bid to become the governor of California, Caitlyn Jenner stepped out for stroll in New York City with pal Sophia Hutchins.

The 71-year-old star and former Olympian wore a patterned dress for their dinner outing on Tuesday.

Caitlyn chose a knee-length frock featuring bold colors and differing patterns; she hit the pavement in beige heels with her tresses loose around her.

Sophia meanwhile donned black fitted leather leggings with a matching crop top, adding black heels; she carried a large white and gold Chanel handbag.

Caitlyn’s New York City outing with Sophia comes hours after she appeared on The View Tuesday.

During her in studio appearance, Caitlyn revealed she would run again for office, and wants to advocate for more inclusivity in the Republican party, per ABC News.

On her failed bid to become governor of California, Caitlyn said: ‘Even though it didn’t work out the way we wanted it to in the end, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.’

Adding: ‘Would I run again? Yes. I want to stay involved.’

She continued: ‘But there’s other things that I would like to do, and that is – one is – try to get the Republican party to be more inclusive.’

Caitlyn did not finish in the top ten choices for replacement candidate, with the recall of Newsom failing by over 24%, per ABC News.

When pressed about Donald Trump, Insurrection and Impeachment issues, the star said of the ‘old school’ Republican party: ‘Honestly, I feel like [they] are destroying the Republican party in so many ways, the have to move on. There’s  got to be a next generation to come, and I think they’re out there. And I’m hopeful that they’re out there, but we have to change, we have to do a better job.’

When asked by The View co-host Joy Behar if the January 6 Capitol Insurrection bothered her, Caitlyn said it ‘obviously wasn’t right. And we can’t have that in our country.’

‘We need to bring people together is what we need to do. We have a tendency in this country to put everybody in a box. And the Republican party needs to change, and to be honest with you, I am the poster child for change,’ Caitlyn said.
