Flash flood warning issued for parts of the Stateline!– OnMyWay Mobile App User News

A flash flood warning has been issued for parts of the stateline until about 5 a.m. Tuesday. Some private weather stations have recorded rainfall rates of up to 2-3 inches per hour with some of these storms. While storms are moving out of the area, it may take a little longer for any potential flooding to subside. This is the reason why the warning continues for so long in the night.

As of 12:30 PM, here are the following warnings:

Flash flood warning for Winnebago and Boone counties until 5:00 a.m. Radar estimates that these areas have received 1-3 inches of rain.

Flash flood warning for McHenry County until 5:15 a.m. Radar forecast rain rate is 1-2 inches per hour and it is raining at 3 inches per hour in isolated areas.
