Severe storms with the threat of tornadoes and hail moved into Oklahoma late Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning.

12:50 a.m. Wednesday Update: The severe thunderstorm watch has expired for Cleveland, Cotton, Garvin, Grady, Jefferson, Kay, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Noble, Oklahoma, Payne, Pottawatomie and Stephens counties.

12:20 a.m. Wednesday Update: The severe thunderstorm warning has been canceled for Cleveland and McClain counties.

12:00 a.m. Wednesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Cleveland and McClain counties until 12:30 a.m.

11:55 p.m. Tuesday Update: A tornado watch has been issued for Carter, Coal, Hughes, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray, Pontotoc, Seminole, Atoka and Bryan counties until 7 a.m. Wednesday morning.

11:45 p.m. Tuesday Update: There are currently no severe warnings in Oklahoma.

11:33 p.m. Tuesday Update: The tornado warning in Pottawatomie and Seminole counties continues until 11:45 p.m.

11:22 p.m. Tuesday Update: A tornado warning has been issued for Pottawatomie and Seminole counties.

11:15 p.m. Tuesday Update: The severe thunderstorm warning for Pottawatomie County has been extended until 11:45 p.m.

10:55 p.m. Tuesday Update: The severe thunderstorm warning has been canceled for McClain county but continues in Cleveland and Pottawatomie counties.

10:35 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Cleveland, McClain and Pottawatomie counties until 11:15 p.m.

10:25 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Kay County until 11:15 p.m. The severe thunderstorm warning has expired for Garfield, Grant and Major counties.

10:15 p.m. Tuesday Update: The severe thunderstorm warning has been canceled in Garvin and Grady counties but continues in McClain until 10:30 p.m.

10:10 p.m. Tuesday Update: Oklahoma City, Edmond and areas north of the metro are getting rain without a severe threat.

10:00 p.m. Tuesday Update: The severe thunderstorm warning continues for Garfield, Grant and Major counties until 10:30 p.m.

9:40 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Garvin, Grady and McClain counties until 10:30 p.m.

9:30 p.m. Tuesday Update: For most, the biggest threat tonight will be some hail and damaging winds. So far, no tornado warnings have been issued.

9:05 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Alfalfa, Blaine, Dewey, Garfield, Grant and Major counties until 9:45 p.m.

Some storms are moving west of the metro, but they are not severe. Storms in the southern part of the state are lifting up to the northeast.

Oklahomans can continue to expect heavy winds throughout the storms and after.

9:00 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Blaine and Dewey counties until 9:15 p.m.

8:45 p.m. Tuesday Update: Several storms have popped up west of Interstate 35 with two severe thunderstorms in the state: one near Burlington and one extending from Carmen to the northeast of Seiling.

The severe thunderstorm warning continues for Alfalfa, Major and Woods until 9:15 p.m.

8:25 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued until 9:15 p.m. for Alfalfa, Major and Woods counties.

8:10 p.m. Tuesday Update: The severe thunderstorm warning for Jackson and Tillman counties has expired.

There are two severe thunderstorm warnings issued in Oklahoma near Alva and Frederick.

8:00 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning for Alfalfa and Woods counties has been issued until 8:30 p.m.

7:50 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Alfalfa and Woods counties.

7:40 p.m. Tuesday Update: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Jackson and Tillman counties.

6:00 p.m. Tuesday Update: KOCO 5 Meteorologist Damon Lane said storms will start around 8 p.m. with ping pong ball-sized hail in the Hennessey, El Reno, Carnegie, Anadarko and Hobart. The storms will hit central Oklahoma between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

After midnight, the storms will move east of Interstate 35.
